Why is it the Unknown Day & Hour?
Heb 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
And, just as Jesus abandoned Himself into His Father's Hands (Luk 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.), so the Father desires all those that are allowed entrance into Heaven to abandon themselves into His Son's Hands.
And, just as time has revealed that sight does NOT equal depth of character as revealed in satan and those rebellious ones who followed him as well as in Adam & Eve as well as those led out of Egypt by God's own Mighty Hand who then quickly forgot and complained, so now God requires Faith in His Son; Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. No, time has proven that seeing is NOT believing, but believing WILL BE seeing!
Thus the Father has determined that this VERY special day (The Rapture) of the resurrection of the dead and then the catching up of those who have their lamps trimmed and full of His oil and burning brightly will be the ones to enjoy escaping the Great Tribulation while being in His Infinite Holy, Glorious Presence! No wonder our Lord gave us Matt 25 concerning the wise & foolish virgins immediately after replying to His disciples in Matt 24. It's all about 'relationship' with Him and not about a bunch of words that lack the passion of relationship with Him. 1Co_4:20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power. AND, 2Ti_3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
I truly believe that there will be a whole lot of lazy complacent 'Christians' the moment after the catching away (rapture) that will be left wondering 'What happened!?' who were trusting in their 'confession' of relationship with Him rather than IN a passionate love relationship with Him!
Yes, God could have made it clear exactly when He was to remove the bride of His Son, BUT, that goes against that which pleases Him, 'Faith in His Son' and not an intellectual acknowledgment based on knowing 'when' He was to catch up His bride.
I believe that the 'wise virgins' as noted in Matt 25:1-13 are called that because they are aware that God doesn't do ANYTHING hap hazardly, but there is always a reason and a timing for all that He does. And, just as Jesus has fulfilled the first 3 feasts http://endtimepilgrim.org/feastslord.htm
I and other believers also feel that He will fulfill the remaining feasts in 'the fullness of time'. Gal_4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, AND, Eph_1:10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
Personally, I and others feel that just as our Lord 'birthed' the church at Pentecost, so He too will remove the church at Pentecost so that His full attention then will revert back to His chosen people the Jews as they enter into the Great Tribulation (along with the lazy complacent virgins (Christians) relying on their confession rather than on their passionate relationship with Jesus who then have to choose death by beheading and thus Life everlasting OR a temporary reprieve from a physical death by accepting the mark of the beast only to end up in continual torment for all eternity.)
Sight and intellectual acknowledgment has proven empty agents of 'people of character'. God has chosen that only those who have seen His Son with their hearts are to be those to enjoy Life everlasting with Him and His Boy! Thus, those who only go through the motions of faith but lack it, will miss out; Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your wisdom in Your giving of Life to those who believe in Your Son from their hearts and not only from their heads. Ever teach us to follow Him with our whole hearts, souls, minds and strengths for it's in His Name, Jesus, the Name above all names we pray, Amen.
