To Know or not to Know

Mat_24:37  But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Luk_17:26  And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

Gen 7:1  And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

Gen 7:2  Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.

Gen 7:3  Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.

Gen 7:4  For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.

Our Lord is clear concerning when He is coming as seen in Matthew 24 and in Luke 17; ‘as in the days of Noe’. And, if one looks sincerely and honestly at His Word as noted there in Genesis 7 as well as in the Parable of the wise and foolish virgins given in Matt 25, one would have to admit that there actually is a very slight window of notification given both in Genesis and in the Parable. In Genesis it was 7 days as noted in Gen 7:4 and in the Parable it is given in Matt 25:6. As you’re looking at those references, take into account that the window between the notification and the actual event is so small that one is already ready at the notification and thus makes the escape, or isn’t and thus misses the escape. And, I believe that The Heavenly Father has it this way for a reason. His desire is to have ONLY those at His Son’s Wedding Feast celebration that are in state of a passionate love relationship with His Precious Son! Thus, the reason my feelings are that the oil in the lamps represent a ‘passionate expectancy’ for Jesus, the Bridegroom, to come and remove us from this world prior to His wrath to be expressed herein. I have shared that thought previously which may be viewed at;

This oil is NOT a confession only but a confession that flows from an expectant heart. The foolish virgins had a confession, but lacked the passionate expectancy so neglected to bring the necessary oil to have their lamps burning brightly (hearts bursting with love) at the appearance of the Bridegroom. Yes, both the wise and foolish virgins (wise and foolish Christians) were waiting for Him, but one group was ready while the other wasn’t.

As I wait with my heart bursting at the seams to be with Him and have shared since about 2002 (about 15 years) these feelings of His imminent reception of His Bride and how Matt 25:1-13 represents ALL Christians BUT with ONLY one group being ready and the other NOT, I now feel that to share it any more is like throwing water onto soil that is already saturated and thus any water placed there now, just rolls right off without being utilized by the ground for the sake of bringing life to the plants therein. (for more of my thoughts concerning a saturation point, please see; ).  By now, I’m beginning to get an idea of how the prophets of old felt when trying to warn Israel of an upcoming impending doom that was coming to Israel and how they just ho hummed it away. Our Father’s desire is for ALL that confess His Son as Lord & King to escape the wrath that He is SOON to unleash on this sick and dying world. And yet, while this may be His desire, His Greatest desire is to honor His Son that has sooo emptied Himself out on behalf of Him and the entire world and thus to not have ANY at His Son’s Wedding Celebration that have not prepared themselves by having their hearts (lamps) full of the oil (passionate expectancy) that proves their love for His Boy! Love is more than words, it’s about being and doing what one is, not only what one says.

Joh 15:14  Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

Joh 15:15  Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

Mat 25:5  While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

Mat 25:6  And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

Mat 25:7  Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

Mat 25:8  And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

Mat 25:9  But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

Mat 25:10  And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

Mat 25:11  Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

Mat 25:12  But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Mat 25:13  Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Php_2:12  Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. I feel led to share this verse in response to the prior verse of Matt 25:9 being shared.

In reading the following verses, notice how our He tells us the ‘signs’ that are to happen just prior to Him showing back up, Those signs have happened, and yet how many times have you heard His pastors preaching in the pulpits for those that confess Him as Lord to prepare for the upcoming rapture or ‘catching away’ of His bride? Hardly any at all!

The Coming of the Son of Man

Luk 21:25  And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

Luk 21:26  Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Luk 21:27  And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Luk 21:28  And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

The Lesson of the Fig Tree

Luk 21:29  And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;

Luk 21:30  When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.

Luk 21:31  So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

Luk 21:32  Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

Luk 21:33  Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Watch Yourselves

Luk 21:34  And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

Luk 21:35  For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

Luk 21:36  Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

God’s Word is clear, He is coming soon, those with eyes to see and ears to hear have already prepared their lamps (hearts) and are ‘expectantly’ waiting for Him to remove them. Those that are living in a ‘complacent’ relationship with Him, are only relying on their past ‘confessions’ of Him as Lord, those that are in a passionate love relationship with Him have their lamps (hearts) full of ‘loving expectancy’ for Him to SOON remove them from this world. One group will soon be gone while the other will be saying ‘What happened!?’.  One group will be busy about their routines of service, (1Co 13:1  Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 1Co 13:2  And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 1Co 13:3  And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.) while the other will be about their times of love and relationship with The King!

He is soon to remove His waiting bride from this world, those of His that are watching, are raising their voices loud and strong for all those with ears to hear and eyes to see to listen in and join in. The foolish virgins became wise ones only AFTER THE FACT, the wise ones were ready BEFORE THE FACT. Which group will we be in? Time will reveal all things!

Heavenly Father, may all those that confess Your Son as Lord hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches and all enter into the Spirit of love with You as the church of Philadelphia had as noted in Rev 3:10. For, it’s in the Eternal, Glorious Name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
