The
Harshness of the Rapture

Rapture
Scriptural
Springboard: Mat
25:8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give
us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
Mat
25:9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not
enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for
yourselves.
Luk_17:34 I tell you, in that night
there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken,
and the other shall be left.
Luk_17:35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and
the other left.
Luk_17:36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and
the other left.
There’s
an intellectual acknowledgment and then there’s the heart acknowledgment. Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus,
and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou
shalt be saved. The Kingdom of God is more than name it and
claim it or blab it and grab it, it’s in power and not just word only; 1Co 4:20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in
power.
When I was about 9 and my sis was about 8
years old, my Mom had me and my sis sit down on the couch next to her while she
proceeded to share the plan of salvation (The Greatest Love story that’s ever
been or ever will be from God’s Word), I was blown away that God loved me sooo much, that He gave His Son Who died for me and then
rose from the dead. I could hardly wait to invite him into my heart to be my
Lord and Savior. At the time, it seemed that my sister was just following along
with what I was totally blown away with for in my teenage years, while growing
hungrier and hungrier to know God personally, my sister ended up dropping out
of school and hanging out with those who did those kinds of things. What I’m
trying to communicate here is that there are those that make the confession of
faith due to believing from the heart (the only ones that are truly saved) and
then there are those who are merely confessing with their mouths to follow the
crowd but their hearts aren’t truly involved.
And, just as this is so
true as in the situation relayed herein, so too this was the case with the
wise/foolish virgins in our Lord’s parable which He gave us in Matt 25:1-13.
There are those who are TRULY waiting for Him passionately and expectantly for their
hearts are truly into it, then again, there are the wannabees that are there
because it’s the thing to do. The celebration that our Father has prepared for
His Son is NOT for those ‘along for the ride’ but for those who are
passionately involved with His Boy from the heart! This is such an important
event and unlike all of the other events of inviting all who will come, for it’s
the final call to board just as at the airport when they make the final call to
board or you will be left behind. That will be the time (The Rapture event) NOT
to be trying to get others onto the aircraft, but to board yourself just as God’s
Word makes that clear. Lot’s wife was concerned about those who weren’t with them
so her heart was back from where they left and so turned instead of leaving as
she should have and ended up missing out. Those whose hearts aren’t truly
committed to departing, won’t. Passion is a personal thing, it’s NOT something
you can share with others hence the response from the wise virgins to the
foolish ones that had lacked the personal passion from their hearts. The other
scriptures shared from Luke just confirm how many people will be involved in
this life with each other, with one being totally and passionately involved
with the King and expecting Him, while others are there, but whose hearts are
not.
This
message is extremely important for God’s kids to hear and some have taken this
opportunity to make YouTube videos and title them with some kind of title concerning the rapture since MANY of God’s kids are
NOT getting this kind of teaching from their local churches and end up sharing
a video concerning the Great commandment of Loving the Lord your God with all
of your heart, soul, mind and strength; Mar 12:30 And thou shalt
love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all
thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is
the first commandment. And,
their videos may be wonderful but I will dislike them and tell the author that
their video while being excellent was deceptive in its title and that had they
titled it correctly it would have gotten a thumbs up from me. There was a time
when the Apostles needed to know exactly what the Greatest commandment was and
was told, BUT, there was also a time when they needed to know about the end
time events and so they asked. Upon asking the Lord about end time events in
Matt 24, Jesus didn’t tell them about the Greatest
commandment and neither should those who are deceptive in their effort to get their
own message across.
This message is very serious in
regards to those who confess Jesus as Lord, for God’s Word makes it clear in
Matt 25:1-13 and in His conversation to the 7 churches in Rev 2 & 3 that not ALL of His will be taken to avoid
the trials that are to come upon the whole earth. And yet, this message isn’t
getting preached within churches hence there will end up being MANY VERY
disappointed and angry (and rightfully so) Christians at their pastors for NOT
preparing them. Hence the reason I get so angry with those that confess Jesus
as Lord who are purposely misleading Christians sincerely looking for teaching
in this regard and then end up pushing their own agenda onto those looking for
answers in regards to the Rapture. I don’t care if they’re trying to tell their
viewers about the Greatest Commandment, then let them know that’s what it’s
about, NOT about the Rapture!
Heavenly Father, thank You for Jesus
Who clearly and concisely told us His parable in Matt 25:1-13 and also His
communication to the 7 churches in Rev 2 & 3. Ever help us take to heart
the importance of preparing our hearts for the greatest event this world has
known since Your Son came to this earth. For it’s in His Name, Jesus, we pray,
Amen.
