Compassionate Savior!

Thought: To
pen down some thoughts as to how we should be as God’s kids
A Key verse: Jas_3:17 But the
wisdom that is
from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and
easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits,
without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
This penning has been spawned within my
spirit I feel due to the spirit of religion that seems to be so prevalent at
our current time. And, by the ‘spirit of religion’ I’m meaning to have a spirit
that is quick to judge and condemn rather than to lean to the side of mercy and
compassion. Jesus, God in the flesh,
liberally gave of Himself and His power of healing to MANY different souls.
Even in the case of the 10 lepers knowing that only one of them would have the
‘good soil’ to actually receive His healing ‘correctly’ and by ‘correctly’ I
mean to know that it was a gift from God that he hadn’t earned or deserved but
lovingly and mercifully given to him by God Himself and would return to give
thanks accordingly.
Recently a
Dear Brother, had posted that he felt that our Lord was to receive His bride on
07/11/2017, He had posted on his channel being rodyd61169
3 different videos of such and I didn’t feel led to re-post any of them. Then
when that time period had come and gone with nothing happening, he had made a
new one and it was named
“Rapture
Imminent 71717”. While watching it, I was impressed with
how well he seemed to
acknowledge his error and yet not to respond with anger towards those who were
responding to him with much anger. This so impressed me that I then re-posted
his video as noted above. I then also received several abrasive comments due to
doing this. I was so impressed due to the amount of negativity being generated
to this person, that I penned the following thought that I have also left on my
YouTube ‘Discussion’ area which is titled “The
Most Dangerous Creatures Among God’s Creation”.
So, this penning is response to these events. The scripture
reference that I’m reminded of is when our Lord healed a group of 10 lepers
knowing full well that only one of them would truly realize the magnitude of
the gift and return to give thanks for it. We also as His ambassadors in this
lost and dying world need to be liberal in the application of mercy and be slow
to administer justice. And when it is necessary to admit justice to do it very,
very prayerfully and carefully. That scripture text is provided as follows;
Luk 17:12 And as he
entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which
stood afar off:
Luk 17:13 And
they lifted up their voices, and
said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
Luk 17:14 And
when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came
to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
Luk 17:15 And one
of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice
glorified God,
Luk 17:16 And
fell down on his face at his feet,
giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
Luk 17:17 And
Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed?
but where are the nine?
Luk 17:18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God,
save this stranger.
Luk 17:19 And he
said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath
made thee whole.
Heavenly
Father, thank You for Jesus, the full expression of Your
heart. Ever help us to learn of Him and to reflect His heart to this lost and
dying world and especially to those who claim Him as their Lord and Savior for
it’s in His Name, the Name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.
