Main Thought: To
grow in our understanding of feeding the heart’s desire to return to its
source.
The Beginning and
Ending
Revelation 22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the
Last, the Beginning and the End.(Whole Chapter:
Revelation 22 In context: Revelation 22:12-14)

knows the spirit of man, which rises upward, or the spirit of the animal, which
Every
last one of us has that yearning to be joined back from the Source from which
we’ve come. Unfortunately, there is another force at work within God’s Glorious
Creation and that is satan and his tools of pride and
arrogance that we all are susceptible to. It seems that these forces work
within each heart of man and, the force that we give our attention to will
determine who we become.
The
nature of God is to Give of Himself, The nature of satan
is to take unto himself. Once this foul nature of satan
appeared within God’s Glorious Creation, He had to allow it to run its course
so that all of creation can see the consequences when the creation thinks that
it is greater than the Creator. God still desires to give of Himself but now
reserves the blessings of His Giving of Forgiveness and Eternal Life to those
of us who will allow our proud nature given to us by our Mom & Dad Adam and
Eve to be broken at the feet of His Son through our confession of our sin and
acknowledgement of His Deity.
God
never wanted pain and suffering to enter our lives but more than that, He never
wanted sin or rebellion to Him/His Word to enter in either. It’s amazing how we
learn to live under the loads that are placed on us instead of learning how to
rise over them. Our Lord wants us to see beyond the physical hardships that are
ours in this temporary world and overcome them by His Grace, Power, and
Authority!
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 17For our light and
momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs
them all. 18So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is
unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. Also, our Lord
desires us to be fighters but of Faith and not of the flesh Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and
blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of
this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly
realms.
(Whole Chapter: Ephesians 6
In context: Ephesians 6:11-13)
He who has an ear, let
him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will
give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
(Whole Chapter: In context: )
He who has an ear, let
him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will
give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new
name written on it, known only to him who receives it. (Whole Chapter: In context: )
To
him who overcomes and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the
nations– (Whole Chapter: In context: )
To
him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I
overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne.
(Whole Chapter: In context: )
So, having lived in this world, it’s clear
to see that we are in a battle. A battle for Faith, Hope, and Love and
especially Love. And, it’s also clear reading the above scriptures that our God
has great rewards awaiting those who overcome. So, how do we overcome?! What I
find interesting is how Heaven didn’t put up with satan.
For he was cast down to earth. Now, he is our problem and what are we doing
about him? God has clearly told us how we too can have him cast down within
this world as follows; Isaiah 14:11-13 11 All your pomp has been brought
down to the grave, along with the noise of your harps; maggots are spread out
beneath you and worms cover you. 12 How you have fallen from heaven,
O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who
once laid low the nations! 13 You said in your heart, "I will
ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit
enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred
mountain. [1]
Revelation 12:10-12 10 And I heard a
loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the
kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our
brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. 11 And
they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;
and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12 Therefore
rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters
of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come
down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth
that he hath but a short time.
Note,
how we shall overcome the evil one, “they overcame
him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they
loved not their lives unto the death.” So, it is by His Blood and our
testimony. A testimony that is more than mere lip service but the giving of all
of ourselves even to the giving of our lives.
Merriam Webster’s definition of a testimony is as follows; tes·ti·mo·ny
Etymology: Middle English, from Late Latin & Latin; Late Latin
testimonium Decalogue, from Latin, evidence, witness,
from testis witness
Date: 14th century
1 a (1) : the tablets inscribed with the
Mosaic law (2) : the ark containing the tablets b : a divine decree attested in
the Scriptures
2 a : firsthand authentication of a fact
: EVIDENCE b : an outward sign c : a solemn declaration usually made orally by
a witness under oath in response to interrogation by a lawyer or authorized
public official
3 a :
an open acknowledgment b : a public profession of religious experience
Note that a testimony is an outward sign or an open acknowledgment. There are
those who like to say that our words alone are what win the victory but I say
that is shallow and has no depth of God’s Heart involved. Words of course are a
part of it but a very small part. Our faith and its declaration by our lives
speak far louder than our words. Especially when we lay them down when called
to do so for the ones/especially the One we love.
If you’ve ever taken two magnets (north
and south poles to each other) and began to move them closer to each other you
can actually feel the pull get stronger as they get closer to each other. So it is with our hearts. Those who haven’t
learned to grow in intimacy will not have the wherewithal to stand in the hour
of adversity. It’s only those who have trained themselves to hunger and thirst
for Him by being with Him who will have what it takes to stand even to the point
of the giving of their own lives. We as God’s people need to exercise the inner
desire of our hearts to be united with our source. For in so doing that pull
gets stronger and stronger until we will stand with Him in Glory! The shedding
of the last barrier that separates us, our flesh, will not only be accepted but
most desired so that we may be even closer to Him.
May Our Lord ever teach our Hearts how to
hunger and thirst for Him more and more each day He gives us the breath of Life
to breathe. For In Drawing nearer and nearer to our Source we will have the
wherewithal to stand in the day of adversity and bring Glory, Honor, and Praise
to Him – Our Beginning and Ending!
