Main thought: to examine the Beauty of the Trinity

The Beauty of the Trinity

God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost

It seems like the attitude or spirit of any organization is determined by those at the top. If you have leaders that are only there to serve themselves, that same spirit seems to be prevalent throughout the organization. So it is with the spiritual realm. Satan thinks that if He mimics or tries to copy the trinity, that his hellish kingdom will be successful. Notice in the following the devil, the beast and the false prophet; Revelation 20:10 And [Rev 20:2f] the devil who [Rev 20:2f] deceived them was thrown into the [Rev 19:20; 20:14, 15] lake of fire and brimstone, where the [Rev 16:13] beast and the [Rev 16:13] false prophet are also; and they will be [Rev 14:10f] tormented day and night forever and ever. (Whole Chapter: Revelation 20 In context: Revelation 20:9-11) Itís also not obtained by the effort ofself-determination or the strength of any living thing; Zechariah 4:6 Then he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to [Ezra 5:2; Hag 2:4, 5] Zerubbabel saying, '[Is 11:2-4; 30:1; Hos 1:7] Not by might nor by power, but by My [2 Chr 32:7, 8; Eph 6:17] Spirit,' says the LORD of hosts. (Whole Chapter: Zechariah 4 In context: Zechariah 4:5-7)

So, it takes more than form, technique, or self-effort to be one with God. It takes a death of our will so that He can make us one with Him; John 12:24 "Truly, truly, I say to you, [Rom 14:9; 1 Cor 15:36] unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. (Whole Chapter: John 12 In context: John 12:23-25) But, surrendering ourselves to someone opens us up to being totally vulnerable, as anyone who is married understands. Anyone who has had that love betrayed also understands the depth of pain associated with the tearing of the heart when that one leaves. Even God doesnít entrust Himself to those who are not trustworthy, John 2:24 But Jesus, on His part, was not entrusting Himself to them, for [Acts 1:24; 15:8] He knew all men, (Whole Chapter: John 2 In context: John 2:23-25) so neither does He expect us to entrust ourselves to Him without knowing Who He is; Romans 10:17 So faith comes from [Gal 3:2, 5] hearing, and hearing by [Col 3:16] the word of Christ. (Whole Chapter: Romans 10 In context: Romans 10:16-18) In this life many of us find ourselves incomplete within the emotional and physical realm without a spouse. Thatís the way we were made. So, just as there is a need within our hearts for marriage within this life, so there is a need within our hearts for a need to reunite with the One from Whom we originate and to Whom we will return. John 17 21that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: 23I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. So, these thoughts reflect on the beauty of the God Head, God the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Thereís something about a place where Love is, a place where people are esteeming others higher than themselves. As we look at the God Head, we see this nature being reflected in all that they say and do. Behold what the Son says of the Father; John 14:10 "Do you not believe that [John 10:38; 14:11, 20] I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? [John 5:19; 14:24] The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works. (Whole Chapter: John 14 In context: John 14:9-11) And then look at what the Father says of the Son;2 Peter 1:17 For when He received honor and glory from God the Father, such an [Matt 17:5; Mark 9:7; Luke 9:35] utterance as this was made to Him by the [Heb 1:3] Majestic Glory, "This is My beloved Son with whom I am well-pleased"-- (Whole Chapter: 2 Peter 1 In context: 2 Peter 1:16-18) And another beautiful picture of the Fatherís Love for His Son is given here in Colossians 1:13-20 13   For He rescued us from the (33) domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of (34) His beloved Son, 14   (35) in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. 15   He is the (36) image of the (37) invisible God, the (38) firstborn of all creation. 16   For (39) by Him all things were created, (40) both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether (41) thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--(42) all things have been created through Him and for Him. 17   He (43) is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. 18   He is also (44) head of (45) the body, the church; and He is (46) the beginning, (47) the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. 19   For it was (48) the Father's good pleasure for all (49) the fullness to dwell in Him, 20   and through Him to (50) reconcile all things to Himself, having made (51) peace through (52) the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, (53) whether things on earth or things in heaven.

Godís heart is most content when He is giving of Himself. And nowhere do you see such a giving nature than in the Trinity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The God Head from which all things exist and have their being, delight in extolling each other! And for those who say what about the Holy Spirit? How is He lifted up within the God Head? Take note of how this third person of the God Head is lifted up; Luke 12:10 "[Matt 12:31, 32; Mark 3:28-30] And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him. (Whole Chapter: Luke 12 In context: Luke 12:9-11) Each person of the God Head is God in Fullness. When I look into this nature of God, I desire to be a part of such a beautiful existence where Love is the supreme reason for being. Here below we are often judged by how well we can perform, how we look, how we can think and reason, how much weíre esteemed by others, how many toys weíve accumulated, etcÖ The more I look into the beautiful nature of God, the more I desire to be with Him. John 17:11 "I am no longer in the world; and yet [John 13:1] they themselves are in the world, and [John 7:33; 17:13] I come to You. [John 17:25] Holy Father, keep them in Your name, the name [John 17:6; Phil 2:9; Rev 19:12] which You have given Me, that [John 17:21f; Rom 12:5; Gal 3:28] they may be one even as We are. (Whole Chapter: John 17 In context: John 17:10-12)

Oh, Iím so very grateful for the Sonís prayer. How He wanted us to share in the same joy and ecstasy of Love that they share. How my heart aches when He says "I am no longer in the world; and yet [John 13:1] they themselves are in the world, Jesus fulfilled his mission here below and yet ours continues on.

Heavenly Father, ever help us as You build the fire of desire in our hearts to be with You to be the lights Your heart desires us to be in this world. Teach us as our hearts soars with Yours in the heights of delights to ever walk this dusty planet in such a way that brings You Glory, Honor, and Praise, in Jesus Glorious Name, Amen.
